Every Unicorn Fairy Circles candle is handcrafted in small batches in Bogalusa, Louisiana. I infuse real organic herbs directly into pure beeswax—no synthetic fragrances, no shortcuts. Just plants, wax, and time.
How This Started
Like a lot of things worth doing, this began with a difficult season.
After years in the tech industry, I found myself at a crossroads. The kind where you question everything—your work, your purpose, what you're actually contributing to the world. During that time, I turned to something ancient and simple: lighting candles with intention.
Not because I believed a candle could magically solve my problems. But because the ritual of it—choosing the herbs, striking the match, speaking my intention aloud—gave me something powerful. A pause. A moment of focus. A way to externalize what I was working toward internally.
I started making candles for myself. Then for friends. Then friends of friends started asking.
What I Believe
Quality + Intention = Magic
That's not a tagline—it's a philosophy. I don't believe candles have supernatural powers. I believe you have power, and a well-made candle can be a tool for accessing it.
When you light a candle infused with lavender and chamomile before a difficult conversation, you're not casting a spell. You're creating a ritual that signals to your brain: this moment matters. I'm preparing myself. That's real. That's psychology. And it works.
Why Beeswax? Why Real Herbs?
Most candles are made with paraffin (a petroleum byproduct) and synthetic fragrance oils. They smell strong because they're engineered to—not because there's anything natural about them.
I chose beeswax because it burns clean, lasts longer, and has a subtle natural honey scent that doesn't compete with the herbs. I chose real herbs because I wanted candles you could actually see working—herbs suspended in golden wax, their properties preserved through careful low-temperature infusion.
Every herb is infused separately before blending. This takes more time, but it means each plant's unique properties remain distinct rather than muddled together.

Yes, it's whimsical. That's on purpose.
A fairy circle is a naturally occurring ring of mushrooms—something magical-looking that has a completely scientific explanation. That felt right for what I'm doing: honoring the traditions of ritual and intention while staying grounded in reality.
The unicorn? Sometimes you just need a little magic in your life. Even if you know it's really just good herbs and clean wax.
